Why I Help People

I have empathy because of my own life experiences 

Do I make a lot of money doing this?  No I don’t, but I feel called by God to help.

I have seen people plead guilty to a crime they didn’t commit or a crime that is so petty that, to me, it doesn’t deserve a conviction. Others deserved the conviction but have radically changed their lives.  You and your faimly deserve the chance to live in as nice a place as possible – I know every parent wants to raise their children in the best environment possible.

What does my life experience have to do with this?  I have witnessed the judicial system and, frankly I know that many people are convicted of a crime they didn't commit because they didn't have the $2000 to $5000 to hire a great attorney. They received a criminal conviction-served their time-and then find it almost impossible to rent an apartment for their family. To me, it is  not right! I believe any one who has paid their debt to society should be able to live in as nice a place as possible. I see my Apartment Finding Service as a way to help good people with a real need. 

What does serving my God have to do with this? EVERYTHING!  Every Christian is called to serve; this is my way of serving. Even if you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, I hope you will see my work as a witness for Him.  Even if you choose not to accept Christ, know that what I do is because I feel called to help.  I feel that God has put me in this position where I can help others.

I’ve talked to a man convicted of a felony over 2 marijuana joints 25 years ago and was forced to live in “rat traps” until I found him a great apartment.  Another convicted over a $258 check that he wrote.  A client of mine was injured in an auto accident and changed a prescription so she could get more pain medication.  Another client that freely admits he was involved with drugs but straightened his life up when he met a great woman. I've helped a score of people who found redemption through Christ. Another man I helped, changed his life when his children were born. I've helped men who were charged with misdemeanor assault when it was really just a verbal argument following a breakup and the woman wanted revenge.

I know that some complexes will gladly take your application fees but you don't have a real chance of acceptance. 

I know the ones where you have a good chance of being approved.  I can help you.  But because my service is FREE, I need your help too! (The apartments won’t tell me you have moved in, you must get back to me so I can send the bill to the complex).
